401(k) Retirement Plan
401(k) Retirement PlanEmployees are eligible to participate in the plan immediately upon employment. The deferral limit for 2007 is $15,500.00 plus $5,000.00 catch-up for eligible employees. This contribution level is set by the IRS. HMRTech® will match 75% of the first 6% of pay the employee contributes to the plan thru payroll deduction. Employer contributions are 100% vested after one year of employment. Medical InsuranceHMRTech® pays the majority of the premium for all regular, full time employees. HMRTech® offers three plan options, Health Maintenance Organization, Preferred Provider Organization (PPO) plan, and a HSA Consumer-driven health program. Medical insurance becomes effective the first of the month following your date of employment. Prescription Drug CardParticipants in the Care First medical plan are also participants in the prescription drug card program administered through Care First. A mail order program is available that provides substantial savings to employees. Dental InsuranceGroup dental insurance is offered through Humana Insurance Company.HMRTech® pays the majority of the premium for all regular, full-time employees. Vision InsuranceHMRTech® employees have the opportunity to be covered under the vision plan through Blue Vision Plus. This is a 100% employer sponsored benefit with no cost to the employees. Company-Sponsored Short-Term Disability PlanShort-term disability benefits are effective upon date of hire. HMRTech® pays 100% of the premium for long-term disability insurance for all regular, full-time employees. The benefit pays 60% of the employee’s salary to a maximum of $1,500.00 per week. Benefits under sickness coverage begin the eighth calendar day from onset of sickness. Benefits under accident coverage begin immediately upon accident. Company-Sponsored Long-Term Disability PlanLong-term disability benefits are effective the date of hire. HMRTech® pays 100% of the premium for long-term disability insurance for all regular, full-time employees. The benefit pays 60% of the employee's monthly salary, to a maximum of $10,000 per month until age 65. Benefits under this coverage begin after 90 days or the date short-term disability payments end. Company-Sponsored Life and Accidental Death and Dismemberment InsuranceHMRTech® pays 100% of the premium for one times salary (minimum of $50,000 and a maximum of $100,000) of life insurance and of accidental death and dismemberment for regular, full-time employees. Tri-Care Supplemental Reimbursement ProgramThe HMRTech® Tri-Care Supplemental Reimbursement program will reimburse you for your Tri-Care premiums. You must be enrolled in Tri-Care Prime to participate. Employee Assistance ProgramHMRTech® offers access to help you when you need it with an employee assistance program through UNUM Life Insurance Company. UNUM provides valuable and exceptional assistance and support programs to help address everyday challenges from workplace stress and relations, to family matters like parenting, education, financial, and legal questions, addiction and recovery, and emotional health-providing 24 hour access to professional counselors, including face-to-face visits as needed. Travel Assistance ProgramAs part of the UNUM benefit package you have access to around-the-clock help, when you travel over 100 miles from home or when you travel in a foreign country. Vacation LeaveHMRTech® offers our employees 15 vacation days per year. Because we believe that our employees make a vast contribution from the day they start, we provide an immediate accrual of 5.000 hours per full pay period. Employees earn one additional day of vacation during each of the next four years (16 days the 2nd year; 17 days the 3rd; 18 days the 4th; and 19 days the 5th). Employees earn 20 days of vacation from the 6th through the 10th years and 25 days of vacation from the 11th year on. Sick LeaveHMRTech® provides six (6) days of sick leave a year. HolidaysHMRTech® observes 11 paid holidays per year! That’s right! You will be able to enjoy New Year’s Day, Martin Luther King Day, President’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Columbus Day, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day as paid holidays. In addition you also receive your birthday off with the approval of an HMRTech® supervisor. Education/Training Assistance ReimbursementHMRTech® encourages all employees to continue their education. If an employee wishes to study job-related courses, HMRTech® will reimburse 100% of the tuition up to $5,000.00 annually. Tuition, registration, books, and lab fees are included in this benefit. To receive the full benefit, an employee must receive a grade of “A” or “B” and stay with HMRTech® for 12 months following course completion. Eligibility and service requirements must be met. Parking/Public Transportation AllowanceHMRTech® will contribute $100.00 per month toward the purchase of a parking pass or public transportation. Vouchers to include Metro rail/bus, MARC, VRE or other commuter buses. Automatic Payroll DepositHMRTech® offers employees automatic payroll deposit. Employees may designate up to five accounts for direct deposit. Employee Referral BonusReferral/recruitment bonuses are paid to full-time employees who refer an individual to HMRTech® The referred employee must be a full-time employee for 6 consecutive months before the referral bonus is paid to the referring employee. Performance/Merit Bonus PlanA bonus is awarded to those employees who demonstrate exceptional performance in their daily job responsibilities. Group Managers, Corporate Managers, and Executive Management determine candidates for participation in the bonus plan. Profit Sharing Bonus PlanThis bonus is distributed annually to regular full-time employees for exemplary service when profits allow. Flexible Spending PlanEmployees may contribute to a Health Care and/or a Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account. Contributions are made through payroll deductions on a pre-tax basis. When eligible expenses are incurred, employees receive tax-free reimbursement.
